The University Health Network and the Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network are offering an exciting opportunity to lead the development and execution of a strategy for integrated care models (bundled care) and initiatives across the two organizations. The position will draw on previous experience and regional pilots to successfully facilitate selected health integration projects at a system level in collaboration with LHIN hospital and community partners that will drive results across the Toronto Health Care System and aligned to the Toronto Central LHIN strategy.
The Toronto Central LHIN and UHN are seeking an experienced health system leader who is knowledgeable about different care delivery models as well as demonstrates a strong understanding of health system funding and accountability. The ideal candidate will have experience that reflects their having worked on developing solutions for complex health system issues.
The successful candidate will possess a Masters in health or business administration as well as 5 to 10 years of progressively senior roles at a leadership level in the healthcare sector. Previous experience should demonstrate experience in policy development and planning, working with government and other partners/stakeholders, along with a strong understanding of clinical service delivery, finance and data. A keen ability to synthesize information gathered through stakeholder engagement and translating into actionable strategies would be ideal.
